In this silly "puzzle" game, you must grab words that are flying past you and assemble them into the longest contraction you can before the end of the round! Each round lasts 25 seconds.

No guarantees made about the grammatical correctness of any results of this game.

How To Play

As words fly past, click on them and drag them to the contraction panel in the center of the screen. If the word you're dragging can combine with the words already in the panel, it will light up, otherwise it will show an "X" over the panel, indicating that those words cannot combine.

Before the game starts, you can choose the difficulty level by setting the rate at which new words spawn in as well as the speed at which the words move.

Good Luck!

I didn't have any issues on my end!

This is a cool take on a word game! It's very frantic! I caught myself not really having time to think, and just trying words that passed by at random. I wonder how the game would work if the player was presented with a bunch of words at the beginning, instead of having them appear and disappear?

The presentation is minimalistic in a great way. Nicely polished for a jam game. The words having physics was also fun to play around with.

Good job!

Thanks Ned! I appreciate it. And I’m glad it worked for you!

Same as the others, I've messed with the word spawn rate, but nothing shows up. It happens to the best of us!

Aw shoot, I can't get the web version to work. But I love the idea of this game. Cool concept!

The words don't show up on the screen at all

Hmm, that’s unfortunate. I’m not able to reproduce that problem. After you start the game can you see the timer in the top right corner counting down?

Yes I can.

Rats. Nothing I can do about it now unfortunately. But thanks for trying it out!
